Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain production database infrastructure in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Administer relational databases, ensuring effective replication, backup, and recovery processes
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and collaborate with team members using version control systems like Git
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Database Engineer or similar role
- Hands-on experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including administration and optimization
- Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
