Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Infrastructure Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and monitor large scale Aurora MySQL/Postgres and VMWare-based on-premises database infrastructure
• Automate monitoring, maintenance, and support tasks while ensuring adherence to database design and performance best practices
• Plan and implement database disaster recovery and manage production environment infrastructure to minimize downtime

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in database administration with experience in highly available Relational MySQL/Postgres clusters and NoSQL databases
• 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, schema design, and automation tools like Terraform
• Experience with scripting languages and automation technologies for monitoring and custom automation
• Extensive experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
