Senior Database Engineering Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Software DB Development Engineer who will lead database engineering initiatives and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of database development engineers while contributing hands-on to complex solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases and AWS-native data services
• Drive data migration and modernization efforts from on-premises to AWS

Required Qualifications

• 12 - 15+ years of experience in Oracle and other RDBMS technologies
• Demonstrated experience in hands-on database development and administration while leading teams
• Strong experience with AWS data services like RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Expertise in SQL/PLSQL, query optimization, and indexing strategies
