Senior Database Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Platform Engineer to operate and evolve their shared data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, availability, performance, and security of shared data systems
• Operate and enhance platforms like Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, and MariaDB with tight SLAs
• Automate workflows and improve observability, alerting, and operational reviews

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with production-grade stateful or distributed systems
• Solid software engineering skills in languages such as Python, Rust, or Go
• Experience with deploying and operating tools and services in production
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, especially around stateful workloads
• Strong fundamentals in Linux, networking, and systems troubleshooting
