Senior Database Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to join their Core Infrastructure Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, scale, and support high-throughput data platforms for mission-critical applications
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to design resilient, fault-tolerant data pipelines
• Ensure exceptional data consistency and high performance at the database level using technologies like Kafka and Flink

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with enterprise RDBMS (PostgreSQL/Aurora/MySQL/Oracle) focusing on optimization and security
• 3+ years managing databases & CDC Streaming services on AWS
• Experience with Apache/Confluent Kafka and running clusters at scale
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with containers and cloud platforms (Kubernetes/ECS/AWS)
