Senior Database Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Reliability Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous availability and security of data
• Optimize database performance and configurations
• Automate routine database tasks and mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments
• Experience with Always On Availability Groups, including patching and failover testing
• Strong understanding of relational database theory and SQL Server internals
• Experience in creating documentation and runbooks for repeatable processes
• Ability to lead complex incident triage and improvements for database issues
