Senior Database Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Reliability Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure data availability and optimize database performance
• Automate routine database tasks and maintain internal tools for developers
• Lead incident management and provide mentorship to junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments
• Experience with Always On Availability Groups, including patching and failover testing
• Strong understanding of relational database theory and SQL Server internals
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or MariaDB for administrative tasks
