Senior Database Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software engineers to design and optimize database schemas and queries
• Monitor and maintain the health of production and development databases
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience managing AWS RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL and MySQL databases in a production environment
• 4+ years of Terraform experience for AWS infrastructure management
• 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure SRE / Platform Engineering
• 4+ years of experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog
• 4+ years of scripting and automation experience with Python and Bash
