Senior Database Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Reliability Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Protect and ensure the continuous availability of data
• Measure, analyze, and fine-tune database performance for optimal configuration
• Document and automate routine database tasks to improve operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server in production environments
• Proven experience with Always On Availability Groups, including patching and failover testing
• Strong command of relational database theory and SQL Server internals
• Experience creating runbooks and documentation for repeatable work
• Ability to lead complex incident triage and drive post-incident improvements
