Senior Databricks Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Databricks Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with lead consultants to design and develop high-value Databricks use cases and architectures
• Lead the design and development of secure, scalable Databricks Lakehouse architectures and oversee data pipeline builds
• Implement data governance practices and optimize performance of Databricks workloads

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in architecture and design for data or analytics projects in a consulting environment
• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake and SQL
• Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Solid understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) relevant to Databricks
• Experience implementing data governance and security practices using Unity Catalog or similar tools
