Senior Databricks Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Databricks Engineer (Healthcare) (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines from scratch
• Design, build, and optimize high-performance data pipelines and ETL workflows in Databricks on AWS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and process healthcare datasets

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, PySpark, AWS, and Databricks
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years in Databricks on AWS
• Experience working with healthcare datasets and understanding U.S. regulatory standards such as HIPAA
• Familiarity with data governance and quality tools such as AWS Glue Data Catalog or Lake Formation
