Senior Databricks Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Databricks Engineer (Healthcare) (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines and optimize high-performance data workflows in Databricks on AWS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and process healthcare datasets
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices to ensure data quality and security

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, PySpark, AWS, and Databricks
• Experience working with healthcare datasets and understanding of U.S. regulatory standards such as HIPAA
• Strong foundation in SQL, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing
• Familiarity with data governance and quality tools such as AWS Glue Data Catalog or Lake Formation
