Senior Databricks Engineer
Job Summary
Owning hands-on, end-to-end Databricks pipeline work, the full-time Senior Databricks Engineer will investigate and structure client data while building medallion-layer pipelines in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain end-to-end Databricks pipelines using bronze/silver/gold medallion architecture
- Write hands-on data engineering code in Python, SQL, and PySpark, including materialized views
- Participate in technical conversations with clients regarding engineering, data modeling, and governance
Required qualifications
- Hands-on Databricks experience building end-to-end pipelines
- Strong skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark
- Experience implementing materialized views and medallion-layer architectures
- Ability to investigate unfamiliar data sets independently
- Availability for the full engagement arc, up to 26 weeks if it extends
