Senior Databricks Practitioner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Databricks Platform Practitioner.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in pod ceremonies and provide architectural guidance and PR review feedback
• Engage in co-development with engineers and correct course when patterns drift from the intended operating model
• Enforce patterns and contribute to documentation and playbook development for best practices in data engineering

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on data engineering experience, particularly with Databricks
• Deep knowledge of PySpark, Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows, and Unity Catalog
• Experience in building production-grade medallion pipelines and implementing ingestion patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines and agile delivery models
• Ability to collaborate with both junior engineers and pod leads on technical issues
