Senior Decision Support Analyst
Job Summary
To support healthcare cost accounting functions, the full-time Senior Decision Support Analyst will develop, maintain, and design specifications for reporting and analysis, while working remotely and collaborating with clinical and operational leaders.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform cost accounting system development and maintenance, including process improvements and advanced methodologies
- Conduct complex financial analysis on longitudinal patient conditions and services
- Serve as a technical and subject matter expert, providing support and mentorship to team members on the cost accounting process
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, health informatics, or related field
- 5 years of experience in healthcare accounting, data development, and data analysis
- Prior experience with healthcare financial or EMR systems, including business intelligence tools like SQL, Tableau, and MS Excel
