Senior Deposit Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Proactively managing complex deposit-related issues, the full-time Senior Deposit Operations Specialist will support member-facing employees, educate them on advanced topics, and enhance member experiences in a hybrid remote/in-office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research and resolve complex deposit issues while acting as a subject matter expert for inquiries related to IRAs, Trusts, and legal documentation
• Lead initiatives to optimize deposit operations processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance digital workflows and support training for front-line employees on emerging procedures

Required qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience in the financial industry or a related field
• Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Preferred CRCM certification
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with core banking systems
• Thorough understanding of credit union policies, IRS guidelines, and banking regulations related to Deposit Operations
