Senior DER Analyst
Job Summary
Focused on managing the financial and billing aspects of distributed energy resources, the full-time Senior DER Analyst will analyze performance data, verify financial settlements, and reconcile billings while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze DER performance to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
- Verify the accuracy of data against financial settlement statements and invoices
- Track DER project performance against financial targets and commercial obligations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Public Policy, or related field; Master's degree a plus
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis or financial reconciliation within the utility or energy sectors
- Strong knowledge of utility regulatory processes and tariff structures
- Experience working with time-series interval data, particularly electric meter readings
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
