Senior Derivatives Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the accounting and reporting of derivative investments, the full-time remote Senior Derivatives Accountant will manage the monthly close process, assist with statutory reporting, and ensure the accuracy of financial results while collaborating with various teams across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Supports the monthly statutory close process by preparing accounting entries and documentation
• Prepares and maintains statutory reporting schedules and analyses in accordance with established requirements
• Performs reconciliations of derivative-related accounts and assists with internal and external audits

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in derivative accounting relevant to the role's responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with statutory accounting and hedge accounting activities
• Ability to analyze derivative activity and perform reconciliations
• Familiarity with SOX controls and documentation requirements
