Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Design Director to lead gameplay design and mentor a design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and shape the core gameplay experience, implementing and tuning mechanics in-engine
• Partner with studio leadership to translate creative pillars into playable gameplay direction
• Lead and develop game designers, ensuring a playtest-driven culture for gameplay decisions

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years in game development, with experience in shipping significant titles
• 7+ years of experience leading and developing game designers
• Deep expertise in moment-to-moment gameplay design
• Hands-on experience prototyping and implementing gameplay in-engine
• Experience in early-stage development and rapid prototyping
