Job Summary

Leading a talented global team, the full-time Senior Design Director will shape the design strategy for a portfolio of Fortune 500 clients, focusing on innovative design practices and client leadership in a hybrid work environment based in Columbus, OH, or Charlottesville, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and champion a forward-looking vision for design, anticipating changes in technology and user expectations
• Own design outcomes for Fortune 500 accounts, influencing client strategy and product direction at the executive level
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of over 100 design professionals, fostering a culture of exceptional work and career growth

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of design leadership experience in client-facing environments, such as agencies or consultancies
• Proven track record of leading design teams that produce award-winning digital products
• Experience managing senior designers and developing their careers
• Fluency in the full product development lifecycle from strategy to launch
• Commitment to building inclusive teams and mentoring designers from underrepresented backgrounds
