Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the quality bar for UI across the product suite, the full-time remote Senior Design Engineer will build production-grade implementations of design concepts, create systems for efficient design workflows, and ensure a cohesive user experience in a complex, data-heavy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and propose fixes for UI rough edges, shipping improvements autonomously
• Build production-quality UI components and interactions to bridge design and implementation
• Maintain and extend the design system, ensuring consistent use across the product

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in design and front-end engineering with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, CSS, and animations, with clean coding practices
• Experience with or contribution to a Design System, including component creation
• Fluency with AI-powered coding tools as part of the core workflow
• Strong sense of taste and attention to detail in UI design and implementation
