Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary

To support a product-led growth team, the full-time Senior Design Engineer will collaborate closely with brand designers to bring high-fidelity layouts to life, implement engaging animations, and extend the design system while advocating for exceptional web experiences, with the flexibility to work remotely from the United States or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Bring design intent to life by translating high-fidelity layouts into functional web experiences
• Implement animations and interactions that enhance user engagement for product launches and campaigns
• Build and extend the design system to accommodate new use cases while maintaining design integrity

Required qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing engineering quality and design sensibility
• Experience as a technical lead on complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and web animation techniques, including CSS transitions and GSAP
• Fluent in React and Next.js, particularly in content-heavy, pre-rendered contexts
• Experience working with and extending design systems, with a focus on performance and user experience
