Senior Design Quality Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Design Quality Engineer to work remotely from the San Diego area.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison between contract manufacturers and internal sites, implementing inspection and testing methods
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain quality records and monitor parts through the development and production value stream

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience working with global engineering teams in the medical device industry
• ASQ Quality certification (CQE, CSQP, CQA) preferred
• Experience with international standards for development and Quality Management Systems
