Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design original covers for the Norton paperback list and select Countryman Press titles
• Track and manage the status of all assigned projects
• Communicate effectively with editors and the paperback committee throughout the design process

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of professional design experience in the publishing industry
• Deep understanding of cover design across multiple genres
• Exceptional typography and visual judgment, demonstrated through a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and current design tools
• Must be able to work full business hours in the Eastern Standard Time zone (EST)
