Job Summary

Creating innovative and visually appealing book covers, the full-time Senior Designer will manage the design process from concept to production while collaborating with various creative teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle every stage of the jacket and cover design process from concept to production
• Commission and collaborate with illustrators, photographers, and creatives
• Prepare press-ready files and ensure quality control of printed proofs

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in publishing book design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience in digital photo-illustration and meticulous typography skills
• An eclectic portfolio showcasing cover designs across various ages and genres
• Knowledge of pre-press and color printing processes
