Senior Designer, Design System

Job Summary

To support the development of a comprehensive design framework, the full-time Senior Designer, Design System will create and maintain design components, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive design consistency across products in a remote or Chicago-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cohesive design system that enhances user experience across platforms
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and implementation
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improvements

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design systems
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of front-end development technologies and best practices
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
