Senior Designer III - Natural Gas

Job Summary

Managing large and complex design projects, the full-time Senior Designer III - Natural Gas will provide strategic leadership, ensure compliance with industry standards, and mentor junior designers in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design of multi-discipline projects, overseeing the preparation of detailed designs and 3D models
• Ensure designs adhere to applicable standards and perform quality control reviews on project deliverables
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project scopes and represent the design team in high-level meetings

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• 15+ years of experience in design and drafting, with leadership roles in large-scale projects
• Expert-level proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or Civil 3D
• Proven leadership skills with strong organizational abilities
• Extensive knowledge of natural gas systems, including pipelines and compressor stations
