Job Summary

Combining deep contract furniture expertise with project management ownership, the full-time Senior Designer Project Manager will deliver turnkey furniture solutions across federal workspaces, overseeing projects from planning and design through procurement, installation, and lifecycle closeout in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage furniture projects of varying sizes, coordinating procurement, design, delivery, installation, and closeout activities
  • Develop furniture layouts and drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and specifications
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact for assigned projects, liaising with stakeholders and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of experience in federal or commercial furniture projects, with proven expertise in contract furniture procurement and installation
  • Strong understanding of contract furniture systems and federal environments, with working knowledge of AutoCAD and CAP 2020/Visual Impressions
  • Experience developing furniture specifications, RFQs, and procurement packages, familiar with GSA MAS pricing and federal procurement processes
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
