Senior Detection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Detection Engineer to join their Detection Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze EDR telemetry, alerts, and log sources across multiple detection domains
• Publish threats for customers with clear communication of key indicators
• Create new detectors and tune existing ones while improving workflows through automation

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Endpoint (MDR) and one or more areas: Cloud/SaaS, Identity, Email, or SIEM
• Proven experience with automation and orchestration for handling telemetry and logs
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for threat analysis
• Experience using query languages and understanding syntax across security platforms
• Experience creating and tuning detectors/rules with tools like YARA, SIGMA, or Splunk
