Senior Detection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Detection Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze EDR telemetry, alerts, and log sources across various detection domains
• Publish threat information for customers with clear communication of key indicators
• Create and tune detectors while improving workflows through automation and orchestration

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in Endpoint (MDR) and one or more areas: Cloud/SaaS, Identity, Email, or SIEM
• Proven experience with automation and orchestration for handling large volumes of telemetry and logs
• Experience using query languages and understanding syntax across EDR or security platforms
• Experience creating and tuning detectors/rules using tools like YARA, SIGMA, Snort, Splunk, etc
• Ability to work from Sunday to Wednesday, 5pm MST - 3am MST
