Senior Detection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Detection & Response Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, maintain, and improve detection and investigation capabilities using integrated technologies
• Automate investigative workflows to enhance SOC analyst efficiency
• Research and monitor the threat landscape to develop detection and response automation

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with detection and response tools (EDR, NSM, SIEM)
• 3+ years of experience writing and tuning custom detections based on data sets
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or other object-oriented programming languages
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security preferred
• 5+ years of professional experience in information technology or security operations is ideal but not required
