Senior Detection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Detection Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain production-grade detections across diverse data sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement detection mechanisms across various platforms and data sources
• Collaborate with incident responders and engineers to enhance detection fidelity and performance
• Apply Detection as Code practices to ensure consistency and automation in detection processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, detection engineering, or threat hunting
• Experience with detection authoring in multiple languages or frameworks such as Sigma, YARA, or SQL
• Proficiency in applying Detection as Code best practices, including Git workflows and CI pipelines
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• High school diploma or GED
