Senior Detection Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Detection Engineer will conduct hands-on detection engineering, integrating threat intelligence and developing tooling to enhance detection efficacy across various platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on detection engineering for custom alerting and risk-based analytics
• Integrate external threat intelligence signals into tailored alerting pipelines
• Develop and maintain agentic tooling to enhance detection efficiency and effectiveness

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in secure coding, alert development, and detection engineering
• Direct experience building and operating a detection-as-code pipeline
• Proven track record of automation that improves detection accuracy and quality
• Extensive knowledge of cloud-based and distributed systems
• Mastery of SIEM querying and programming languages such as Python and Go
