Job Summary
To enhance cyber security monitoring, the full-time Senior Detection Engineer will create detection logic, collaborate with technical teams, and support a global 24/7 MDR operation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create logic and detection for various technologies related to cyber security monitoring
- Partner with Threat, SOC, and DFIR teams to understand emerging trends and enhance detection capabilities
- Support the global 24/7 MDR operation and be available for on-call rotation during incidents
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in threat research, detection engineering, or threat hunting
- Hands-on experience with cyber security tools such as Microsoft, Crowdstrike, or similar
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Python, Bash, or KQL
- Knowledge of security best practices and frameworks, including OWASP and NIST
- Industry certifications such as GIAC, Microsoft, or AWS are preferred
