Senior Developer Advocacy Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a fully remote Senior Developer Advocacy Engineer, the successful candidate will focus on building an interactive learning experience within Grafana, enhancing user engagement and contribution workflows while leveraging AI-assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance the Interactive Learning Plugin to create smooth and scalable learning experiences
• Develop workflows that enable non-engineers to contribute and improve learning content effectively
• Implement observability principles to track user progress and improve the overall learner experience

Required qualifications

• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a focus on production-grade code
• Familiarity with Grafana in real-world applications, including dashboards and monitoring
• Ability to communicate technical concepts through documentation and presentations
• Experience in open source contributions or maintainership is a plus
