Senior Developer - Quality Engineering

Job Summary

Passionate about quality-driven development, the full-time Senior Developer - Quality Engineering will build and maintain custom tools and solutions to enhance product and engineering teams, ensuring fast, reliable, and trustworthy content delivery in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Propose, build, and maintain modular QE tools for use across various projects
• Collaborate with product, editorial, and engineering teams to integrate quality strategies into the development lifecycle
• Integrate automated tools and tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid deployment and minimize production defects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of development experience with proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with containers and serverless projects, including tools like Docker and AWS Lambda
• Familiarity with CI tools and building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Experience with data ingestion and analysis tools (e.g., Google Cloud BigQuery, SQL)
