Senior Developer Relations Engineer

Job Summary

To empower fintech companies in integrating with Plaid's APIs, the full-time Senior Developer Relations Engineer will create and enhance developer documentation, design sample applications, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve the developer experience in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Create and evolve developer documentation for Plaid's APIs, ensuring clarity and usability
• Design and build sample applications, demos, and tutorial videos to showcase integration benefits
• Serve as the developer's advocate, translating community needs into actionable insights for internal teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations or similar roles, including technical roles like Software Engineering
• Proficiency in writing clear code in at least one backend and one frontend language
• Experience in creating high-quality developer documentation from scratch
• Strong ability to learn and explain new technologies and concepts clearly
• Empathy for developers, understanding their needs and concerns
