Senior Development Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Development Associate who is an experienced fundraising professional knowledgeable about human services systems and grant proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage funding proposals, including responding to complex RFPs and writing proactive proposals
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, development staff, and external partners to achieve successful fundraising outcomes
• Utilize knowledge of child welfare, juvenile justice, and mental/behavioral health systems to enhance fundraising efforts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Non-Profit Management, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in fundraising, development, donor relations, and non-profit administration
• Minimum nine (9) years of grant and proposal writing experience
• Experience with donor databases/CRMs, such as Salesforce
• Familiarity with federal, state/local online grant/proposal submission and reporting databases
