Senior Development Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Senior Development Assurance Engineer, responsible for enhancing development assurance processes, partnering with Systems Engineering to refine requirements, and mentoring engineering teams on compliance standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and improve existing processes and tools against ARP4754B compliance
• Refine and maintain Development Assurance process documentation to ensure compliance with SAE ARP4754B
• Lead cross-functional teams to integrate development assurance processes and conduct independent audits

Required qualifications:

• 6-9 years of experience in Development Assurance with a Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience with a Master's or PhD
• Hands-on experience with SAE ARP4754A/B and SAE ARP4761/A engineering processes
• Experience in developing and maturing requirements sets in collaboration with Systems Engineering
• Strong audit and technical writing skills, with experience in training or mentoring engineers
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex development assurance challenges
