Senior Development Manager

Job Summary

Owning and growing a portfolio of foundation and philanthropic funders, the remote Senior Development Manager will manage relationships throughout the funding lifecycle, lead proposal development, and ensure compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of funders through identification, cultivation, solicitation, and renewal, executing annual engagement plans
• Lead the development of complex proposals and ensure timely reporting and compliance with grant terms
• Represent the organization at key events and coordinate donor engagement activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus
• Minimum 8 years of experience in fundraising or resource mobilization with a track record of securing significant philanthropic awards
• Direct experience managing foundation and philanthropic relationships, including proposal development and reporting
• Experience in global health or international development
• Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment
