Job Summary
Leading a high-performing engineering team, the full-time Senior Development Manager will innovate subscription platform capabilities, drive AI-driven initiatives, and ensure operational excellence in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the engineering vision and roadmap for Retail Growth projects while advocating for customer and developer experience
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a servant-leadership culture and ensuring high-quality, customer-centric work
- Provide architectural guidance, track DORA metrics, and contribute to code reviews and troubleshooting efforts
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience leading an engineering team of at least 3 people
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with full-stack development using frameworks such as Django, Rails, or NodeJS
- Multi-year experience designing and supporting complex systems with high traffic and availability requirements
- Experience with both relational and non-relational databases
- Proven experience in AI product integrations and agile team processes
