Senior Development Officer

Job Summary

To advance a critical fundraising agenda, the full-time Senior Development Officer will build relationships with foundation and government funders, draft grant proposals and reports, and collaborate with program and finance staff, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and write compelling grant proposals and reports, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and compliance with deadlines
• Maintain a portfolio of institutional donors, cultivating relationships and identifying new funding prospects
• Coordinate with finance and program staff to ensure timely submission of grant-related documentation and improve development team efficiency

Required qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in institutional development or fundraising
• Proven experience securing grants in the mid to upper six-figure range
• Strong grant writing skills with experience in both project and general operating support
• Ability to understand and interpret grant budgets
• Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
