Senior Development Officer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with the Regional Executive Director, the full-time Senior Development Officer will design and implement a comprehensive development strategy for major and planned gift prospects, focusing on capital campaign gifts and ongoing fundraising efforts in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute development strategies for major and planned gift prospects
• Solicit capital campaign gifts and manage ongoing fundraising efforts for hospital programs
• Engage with Mercy physicians as part of the grateful patient program to enhance fundraising initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of three to five years of successful experience in principal and major gifts fundraising
• Experience in soliciting major gifts of $10,000 or more
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with leadership and staff at all levels
• CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification preferred
