Senior DevOps Administrator
Job Summary
Supporting NASA operations, the full-time Senior DevOps Administrator will provide software development and maintenance for the ARMD Test Data Portal, manage system health checks, and mentor junior team members, with the flexibility of a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Software Development and long-term Software O&M/Sustaining Support for the ARMD Test Data Portal, including system health checks and user management
- Recommend and implement technical approaches for data management and integration solutions to enhance performance and security
- Manage software updates and security configurations for 3rd party platforms and assist with problem resolution for NASA users
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 4 - 6 years of software development/administration experience, including a minimum of 2 years in software development
- Active Security clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance
- Development experience with an object-oriented language, such as Java or C++
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices and experience with configuration management and application security
