Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will support the development of DevOps and software engineering strategies, mentor team members, and collaborate across teams to improve software engineering processes and practices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to consolidate and simplify DevOps tools and services
• Design and build cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes to enhance software delivery and developer experience
• Present technical designs and lead small project teams while mentoring junior engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience (substitutions may apply)
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one infrastructure-as-code tool (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Strong expertise in key DevOps concepts, including software installation, virtualization, and containerization
• Experience with automated tooling for application testing and deployment pipelines
• Ability to work with government partners to ensure compliance with security and performance requirements
