Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a visionary Senior DevOps Engineer for a full-time remote opportunity, responsible for architecting and operationalizing the DevOps strategy for the API Gateway, modernizing tooling and CI/CD pipelines, and embedding Site Reliability Engineering principles to enhance production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Spearhead the evolution of DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines for the Apigee API Gateway using GitOps methodologies
• Design and implement production operations leveraging AIOps tools for enhanced observability and incident remediation
• Architect secure gateway solutions for high-volume traffic supporting Generative AI and Machine Learning APIs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• 5+ years of expertise in distributed systems and cloud platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Cloud Run)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as GoLang, Python, or Java
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and familiarity with AI tools to enhance engineering productivity
