Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a contract-to-hire engagement, the remote Senior DevOps Engineer will implement and support Kubernetes on bare metal and hypervisor platforms in a private cloud environment, focusing on the deployment, automation, and continuous improvement of large-scale compute infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and support enterprise compute platforms, including hardware, OS, virtualization, and container orchestration layers
• Deploy and maintain bare metal server infrastructure for Ubuntu OS with Kubernetes and hypervisors
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Ansible and Terraform, and implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure updates

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Infrastructure Operations Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience operating bare metal compute environments at scale
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Strong Linux administration skills, particularly with Ubuntu
• Experience deploying and operating production Kubernetes environments
