Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior DevOps Engineer to work remotely, who will own and develop infrastructure-as-code, analyze performance metrics, and optimize deployment pipelines while collaborating closely with application developers and data engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation, focusing on serverless resources
• Instrument and analyze daily metrics for infrastructure performance and Ruby on Rails applications
• Build and maintain efficient deployment pipelines to enhance developer velocity

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience with production-level AWS expertise
• 2+ years of AWS experience, including certification and deployment of production applications
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and ECS
• Experience with observability platforms and performance issue analysis
