Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior DevOps Engineer will support the development of DevOps and software engineering strategies while mentoring team members and collaborating across teams to enhance software engineering processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to consolidate and simplify DevOps tools and services
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes to improve software delivery quality and speed
• Mentor team members and lead small project teams, presenting technical documents to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one infrastructure-as-code tool (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Proficiency in key DevOps concepts including software installation, virtualization, containerization, and networking
• Experience in building automated deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Strong skills in cloud infrastructure design and pipeline design
