Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing DevOps team, the Senior DevOps Engineer will architect a scalable software delivery pipeline for SaaS genomics software, manage existing infrastructure, and automate deployment processes in a 12-month remote contract position.

Key responsibilities

• Help hire, mentor, and scale the DevOps team
• Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure, ensuring scalability to meet market demand
• Automate deployment processes and build a monitoring stack for production and development environments

Required qualifications

• Proficient in AWS, Terraform, Linux, and systems/software/cloud architecture
• Hands-on experience with SDLC and relevant tools
• Technical knowledge of AWS services, including Cognito, EC2, RDS Postgres, and CloudWatch
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, and Prometheus
• Familiarity with Python, Ansible, and the Iguana HL7 Integration Engine
